Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure the project is delivered on time according to requirements and within the budget
Collaborate with engineers, land surveyors and quantity surveyors etc to determine the specific needs of the project
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
Assist managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
Project risk management, budgeting reporting and monitoring 
Develop appropriate contractor interface
Help to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
 
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelors degree or diploma in project management
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
• Knowledge in end value management
• Knowledge of project performances curve
• Proficient in Microsoft office and general computer software
 
Procurement Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing the entire purchasing function of the organization.
• Optimization of inventory through continuous inventory level management.
• Continuous reviews of the system’s parts/stocks re-order levels and replenishment of stockrooms plus management of pre-paid order to suppliers ensuring all orders are completed on time.
• Inventory health checks and critical point monitoring.
• Sourcing, engaging & building a strong strategic key supplier base by establishing long standing relations through supplier performance management with both local and international supplier.
• Monitor and record supplier performance to assess supplier’s ability to meet quality and delivery requirements continuously
• Attend to all procurement reporting requirements; monthly and adhoc.
• Follow up on payments made to suppliers and ensure that suppliers are paid on time and within agreed time frames and adherence to credit terms/facilities offered.
• Assist in ensuring the communication and understanding of the objectives throughout the Department.
 
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma/Degree in Business Management/Purchasing & Supply from a recognized institute.
• Excellent skills in communication, analytical, well-structured, and organized

• Excellent in Microsoft excel
• At least two years’ experience in mining /construction environment 

• Prepared to work weekends/holidays as and when required
 
SHEQ Officer
Duties and Responsibilities
• Compile and maintain safety files and other relevant files at the project site
• Establish safe and standard operating procedures
• Conduct pre-implementation risk assessments and identify risk reduction and mitigation measures at project sites
• Provide SHE improvement proposals,proposed corrective action plan and required resources for corrective action taken
• Co ordinate and participate in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses
• Conduct SHE committee meetings (plan schedule and review
• Investigate the root cause of SHE complaints put forward by employees and the client
• Ensure accurate registration and record keeping of all legislative i.e PPE registers
awareness training registers all office inspection related registers.
• Identify non- confirmities and provide corrective action measures to prevent re occurrence
• Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time by management
 
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Environmental Science and technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
• In depth knowledge of legislation eg OHSAS 45001:2018, EMS 14001:2015, QMS 9001:2015
• OSHEMAC certificate is an added advantage
 
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor, analyse and manage all internal and external project costs
• Coordinate with project manager to ensure information, costs and profitability meet the requirements of the client
• Manage and maximize positive cash flow for the project
• Carrying out material audits, checking quantities against BOQ and relevant specifications
• Carrying out project checks
• Loading with the project team in preparation of weeklong reports, monthly reports and at any other intervals as may be required for internal and external use
• Any other relevant duties as assigned by the Project Manager
 
Qualifications and Experience
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or diploma in  Quantity Surveying
• Proven work experience as a Quantity Surveyor preferably with 5 years experience in construction industry
• Knowledge in contract reporting, preparations of scurve and cash flow histograms
• Knowledge in end value management
• Team player with ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills
 
Land Surveyor
Duties and Responsibilities
• Executes cadastral surveys and monitors the execution of cadastral survey work in terms of the Land Survey Act [Chapter 20:12], Land Surveyors Act [Chapter 27:06],
• Prepares regular survey action plans for surveys and maintains job registers

• Implements performance management strategies and prepares progress and operations reports as required
• Determines and recommends budgetary and equipment requirements;

• Controls usage of equipment and ensures proper maintenance and service thereof;

Qualifications and Experience
• Degree or Diploma in Surveying and Geomatics
• At least 3 years’ experience

• Analytical and problem solving skills

• Good technical skills
 
Site Administrator
Duties and Responsibilities
• General administration of the site office including filing of all site documents and communique.

• Ensure compliance to company procedures and policies.

• Budget control for all site costs.

• Resource utilization and correct deployment of resources.

• Providing, tracking materials on site schedule and presenting the site cost tracker.

• Reports generating and presentation within stipulated hours. 

• Relationship management.
 
Qualifications and Experience
• Diploma or degree in business management
• At least two years’ experience in mining/ construction industry
